Corrections to a guide: include the page address, the sentence in question and what it should say, with a source where one exists. Confirmed corrections are made within a week.
Archive contributions: include the issue number and date, what you are adding (a table of contents, an author list, a theme correction) and how you know it. See the contribute page for how contributions are attributed.
Guide proposals: say which question the guide answers, who searches for it, and which sources it would cite. Replies within two weeks.
Not answered: advertising, sponsorship, paid placement, link exchange or guest-post requests. The site carries none of these.

Broken old links: if an address from the original magazine site, such as an issue file, a tutorial listing or a subscription page, lands on the error page instead of redirecting, send the full address and the page where you found it. Old links are matched to the page that most honestly continues them, and a reported miss is usually added to the redirect map within a few days.
Research and press enquiries: questions about the history of the magazine, the archive method or a guide's sources are welcome. Say what you are writing and the deadline. The editor answers on the record and in writing only, and will point you to the sources a guide cites rather than summarise them from memory.
Languages: messages are answered in English. Every message is read by the editor; there is no ticket system and no automated reply.
What happens to your message: it is kept only as long as it takes to deal with it and is then deleted, unless you contributed to an archive record and asked to be credited, in which case only your name is kept on the page. The privacy page sets out the details and your rights.
